Who are we?
Cheree Wheaton and Bridget Ingle are experienced Health Professionals who practice Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy in Brisbane, Australia in their respective private practices.
They decided to join forces for educational purposes as they both felt passionate about wanting to provide other health professionals and the general public with workshop style programs based on myofunctional therapy programs.
Bridget Ingle (RN, RM, IBCLC) is an AHPRA registered Registered Nurse, Midwife and Lactation Consultant and integrates myofunctional therapy into her paediatric practice. She is immediate past Chair of the Australian Society for Tongue and Lip Tie (ASTLiT) and a member of the Australian Association of Orofacial Myology.
Cheree Wheaton (B AppHSc (Oral Health)) graduated from the Univeristy of Queensland as an Oral Health Therapist in 2000. She has spent most of her dental career focusing on prevention, jaw development orthodontics, sleep and neuromuscular dentistry. In 2014, she founded her Brisbane based Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy clinic, Smile Tone, She is a past President of the Australian Association of Orofacial Myology (AAOM).
